We gave Nicholas his first tub bath today. He was placed in a basin with a heat lamp over him. He loved it and in fact started falling asleep. He's status quo with the oxygen (1 liter at 34-38% for those of you that are medical) and they have cut the calories in his formula to 23 calorie versus 28 as "he is gaining weight too quickly." We love playing "dress up" with Nicholas and the staff look forward to seeing which outfit he has on on a daily basis, a little pressure to look cute every day. We look forward to many more good days with continued improvements.

ReplyDeleteWe like the outfits so far and our favorite is the balls. Of course, the number could be 23 for LeBron James, Michael Jordan, etc. but 10 is okay too. How about 13 (1 for January and 3 for the 3rd)? You continue to amaze us with your progress and that makes our day positive too. We're sure the Mommas are helping immensely with that progress and we thank them profusely for taking the time to blog us while you rest, etc.
Oh, get ready for texting - Mommas can explain LOL, :) , :( , and many more for you to learn down the road. Maybe cousin Ella will text you some day.

I love how he is trained to wave at the camera and even a close thumbs up in the last picture. :) Enjoy those days of playing dress up because before long he won't let you do it anymore and will be telling you what he wants to wear! Keep the pictures coming we love them!
