We saw the pulmonologist today with hopes of getting off the oxygen sooner than later. Unfortunately, we went up on it to 1/8 of a liter versus 1/16. Nicholas was satting in the mid 80's to low 90's (mid to high 90's is best). To error on the side of caution, they decided to bump him up until we are seen again in 6 weeks. At least we're all used to dealing with the O2. He topped the scale at 7lbs 11 ounces today. We also had his labs drawn this week and things are improving with his counts (Hgt went from 25 to 30). Nothing else to report at this time. Have a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteOkay...second try...such a techno nerd. CONGRATULATIONS Denise, Denise and Nicholas.....Home at last. What great news. I have been thinking about you often and you have been in my thoughts and prayers. Room 2 has not been the same since you left. I am so happy for all of you and it looks as if everyone is adjusting to life at home, oxygen and all. Better to have you home with oxygen than still in the hospital. And look how big you are getting. Amazing. Very happy news about the eyes...yeah. Way to go. And happy to see that Easter was spent at home and not at Costco...very busy day with pictures. The bathing suit was too funny. Next year. Hope you are all well....enjoying the spring. Sorry it has been a long time but computer fell apart and can't get online at the hospital. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Michele
