We brought Nicholas home this afternoon and so far, so good. We've attaced some pictures of our journey home. I don't think we've ever driven as slow on the way home as today. We'll post later this week but wanted to at least get some pictures of today posted.

ReplyDeleteWhat super news to hear that all went well with the trip home. You look great in your home surroundings Nicholas. Although your Mommas will surely be anxious about things it's only because they love you so much and the fight you've already accomplished just to get home.
ReplyDeleteNot too long before the Easter bunny will be hip hopping along to greet you either. 3 months of trials and tribulations for the 3 of you certainly calls for a chocolate egg or bunny. Maybe even a glass of vino for the Mommas.
Dave is looking forward to your first haircut so he can have dibs on the hair for his head. Looking forward to visiting you down the road after you are a little more acclimated to home Nicholas. We might enjoy seeing D and D too but we know the kid is the one that's important.

ReplyDeleteOh my!! I haven't been on your blog since last Tuesday, the 23rd, and look what's happened!!!! BABY NICHOLAS is HOME!!!!!! Congratulations!! We are sooooooo excited for you guys!! Nicholas will be so much more comfortable in his own house and in his own bed!! I can't wait to see pictures of his nursery! Although I have a feeling Nicholas arrived before his room was complete!!! I will check back in the next day or so to see if there are any updates!!! Let the fun begin!! Welcome to a life filled with trucks, tractors, and trains!! Oh and don't forget about dirt and baseballs, soccer balls, etc.!!! (That's what Collin LOVES!! HA!) Hope you guys are able to get some rest too!! Remember to sleep when he sleeps!!!
